With winter fast approaching, I thought I’d throw together a quick guide on how to create the perfect cut crease, perfect for every occasion. Using my all-time favourite, Huda Beauty Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette I created a soft rosy cut crease.

Start with the P Louise Eyeshadow Base to carve out the bottom of the brow to create a perfect brow shape and pat it into the eyelid. Then use Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow pomade to lightly fill in the brow for a more natural look. To start off the eyeshadow, I used the shade Sandalwood as a transition shade using a bigger blending brush and focus on the crease and brow bone. Then pick up a smaller fluffy brush and using the shade Henna and Man-Eater together the focus on the crease and outer corner of the eye then lightly pick up the shade Bossy with a small blending brush and focusing just on the outer corner of the eye. Then take the first blending brush without picking up any more eyeshadow roughly go over the outer corner to create a seamless blend between all shades.

For the cut crease using a flat brush and the P Louise Eyeshadow Base again add a small amount to the inner eyelid and look up! This will create a line just before the crease then gently creating a carved line to join up to it from their inner corner to half way through their eyelid then filling in under the line. Taking a different small flat brush pick up the shade Angelic and put it on the concealed part of the crease. After patting the shimmer down, pick up the first eyeshadow brush and the shade Sandalwood to make sure the shimmer blends in nicely with the rest of the look.

After finishing the eyeshadow I moved onto the foundation base, first start with the Mac Prep & Prime Natural Radiance Primer all over the face mixed with the Rose Gold Cover FX Liquid Highlight and blend it into the place you want the most glow. Then using the Mac Studio Fix Foundation bounce the product into the skin with a Beauty Sponge. Then using the Mac Studio Fix Concealer one shade lighter than the foundation to cover any discolouration and to highlight under the eye. Then using the Mac Setting Powder in the shade Translucent set all over the face. Using the Kat Von D Shade and Light Palette to bronze and carve out the cheekbones, hair line and nose to add more colour to the skin. Next use the Nars Blush in the shade Deep Throat, just lightly on the apples of the cheeks and blending towards the hairline. Then using the Anastasia Beverley Hills Sun Dipped Glow Kit and taking the shade Moonstone to highlight cheek bones, nose and cupids bow. Then lastly pick up a small pencil brush and take the shade Sandalwood to blend the lower lash line with the rest of the shadow then the shade Henna and focusing that on the outer part of the lash line and blending it with the Sandalwood shade to create a seamless blend to smoke out under the eye. Apply Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara to top and bottom lashes. Once dried use Ardell Demi Wispies False Lashes and Lash Grip Lash Glue. Once the look is completed lightly spray Mac Prep & Prime Setting Spray\ over the face and you’ve got a Perfect Glowy Cut Crease!
